Rockefeller ruined the practice of medicine in the early 20th century (https://www.covid-19forum.org/index.php?topic=1210.0) in favor of addictive petrochemical based "remedies" - while demonizing thousands of years of medical practice as "alternative" and "quackery" - the century was lost to advancing natural cures at a time when real science could have moved it forward in leaps and bounds through modern technology.
For example there may be nothing more effective for treating neuropathy than lion's mane mushrooms (44 minute mark in video), but cures like that have not been available because natural plants and fungi are not patentable, and even though lion's mane is far superior to Big Pharma's answers (just as generic HCQ and IVM are for COVID), Pharma can't make obscene profits so this wonderful cure is suppressed.
