"I am an Indy Reporter from Australia.
I live in a bus and tour town to town, interviewing people about the current state of of country.
In a small town a man approached me.
Unjabbed and utterly isolated, he knew nothing of the freedom movement.
I told him he wasn't alone, that he was a part of a growing, beautiful, human tribe.
After having a weep, he asked if he could play some songs that he had been writing to stay sane.
None of his family and friends would listen to them. In fact they told him to delete them.
He didn't, and I recorded this on the side of a road. It's going off now.
I also put him onstage and he wowed and audience. That data battle is won, the war for culture is here, and this man,
Jim Scott, the poet, is a gift to our movement."
