Perhaps an attorney would be so kind as to weigh in on this.

Since the efficacy of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine has been known, at least within a considerable part of the medical community (as demonstrated by Henry Ford Hospital) for over a year now - as exampled by competent physicians that have enjoyed up to 100% success in early outpatient treatment of their elderly and high-risk patients ever since March of 2020 - would it be appropriate for a patient to threaten to sue their doctor for medical malpractice, perhaps even threaten that a wrongful death lawsuit will be brought by your survivors, if you die as a result of his refusal to prescribe one of the safe, potentially life-saving, early outpatient treatment protocols for COVID-19?

What about lodging the same threat with a pharmacy that is refusing to fill the prescription?

How many doctors can deny that they had heard that other physicians were enjoying miraculous success with these cheap, generic, life-saving drugs? If they have to admit to having heard about it - and how many could honestly testify that they didn't - what about bringing lawsuits today for wrongful death brought by loved ones of the deceased? https://www.covid-19forum.org/index.php?board=3.0

What about suing your doctor for the expense of hospitalization (average bill stuck to COVID patient is $73,300) when hospitalization could have been completely avoided by having been administered an effective, early, $20 outpatient treatment for COVID-19?

What about doctors that wanted to treat appropriately, but were not allowed to, by the policies of the group they practice under? Wouldn't the doctor group be quite vulnerable to a suit, particularly if they were being brought into a suit by one of their doctors who was being sued? Could the doctor sue his group for a future of pain and suffering weighing on his conscience from having had so many patients die unnecessarily, that could have otherwise been saved, if he had been able to treat with HCQ or ivermectin?

Could any doctors really get off the hook if they essentially did nothing for their patients, but tell them to go home and isolate, rather than having prescribed antivirals early in the course of their infection?

Even worse, what about hospitals and doctors that gave their patients false hope by administering less effective Remdesivir/Veklury, when they could have been prescribing an effective remedy like ivermectin?

Does the same false hope apply to expensive monoclonal antibody therapy?

What about lawsuits by "long haulers" who are suffering - with some that may continue to suffer the expense of treatment for life-long ailments that resulted - from simply not having been prescribed one of these early outpatient treatment therapies immediately upon the presentation of their symptoms, but instead had their disease progress into the later more dangerous inflammatory and cytokine storm stage?

We are a year into this now, and back near the beginning of this "pandemic" world leading virologist Dr. Didier Raoult had declared as reported by The Highwire, July 2, 2020, that failure to prescribe hydroxychloroquine to a COVID-19 patient “should be grounds for malpractice.”
By March 25th Dr. Vladimir made very public his 100% success rate in treating 350 elderly and high-risk patients with HCQ+AZ+Z. He described those who got between doctors and their patients regarding hydroxychloroquine as mass murderers guilty of crimes against humanity.

So aren't all doctors without excuse, other than self-imposed ignorance, for not having bothered to investigate?

Way back in February of 2020 the same world leading microbiologist, epidemiologist and virologist Dr. Didier Raoult declared (after having had so much success treating COVID with HCQ+AZ:
“Actually, from all respiratory infections it’s probably the easiest to treat.
So there is really no reason to get excited anymore.
There is really no reason to get excited and rush to produce a vaccine.....”
