Update: More recently there have been a number of developments and studies that seem to show Ivermectin to be superior in efficacy to, and more immediately effective than, hydroxychloroquine (particularly as prophylaxis), and Ivermectin also demonstrates efficacy in all three stages of COVID, including the later hospital stage. Also it does not seem to call for quite the extreme urgency to begin treatment preferably within the first 5 days of the presentation of symptoms that hydroxychloroquine does, though that would always be preferable.
Blessedly it is another long standing, cheap, generic drug that has had billions of doses taken by humans, even in mass distribution. Please review the thread on this wonder drug and then revisit this thread later.
